Chris MacDonald
Hey chaps, Just imported a revit model via FBX (revit import wouldn't work) and need to do some work on the geometry (I don't have about breaking any file links). The geometry appears to be working at a completely different scale to the scene. For example a 10mm chamfer will send verts flying off a couple of feet. This is something I've seen plenty of times before and managed to fix it by resetting the xform - but this time "reset xform" is greyed out... Any ideas why? P.S. I hate Revit. Scott Schroeder
If reset x-form is grayed out, the object is part of a group. Detach it or explode the group and it should be able to reset the xform now.
Corey Beaulieu
You could also just draw a Box, Plane, or Rectangle > Covert to Editable Poly/Spline > Attach what you need to change > Delete the Box, Plane, or Rectangle.
vincentg87
or select by element-> select all elements->detach I do this sometimes when I fail to group a certain object.
Chris MacDonald
You could also just draw a Box, Plane, or Rectangle > Covert to Editable Poly/Spline > Attach what you need to change > Delete the Box, Plane, or Rectangle. This worked perfectly. Thanks for the help people.
