MulaG
What skies would one recommend for a garden scene (nice bright blue skies)? Are the Dosch HDRI skies any good?
trhoads
Pretty good ones here, not a lot. I like to use a couple of them. http://www.carlwozniak.com/clouds/CloudPix.html
STRAT
What skies would one recommend for a garden scene (nice bright blue skies)? Are the Dosch HDRI skies any good? yup, they're most excellent. but if ur only lighting the scene i'd use normal bitmaps. hdri is not needed. they only show themselves off when you got heavey reflections to render. quizzy
yup, they're most excellent. but if ur only lighting the scene i'd use normal bitmaps. hdri is not needed. they only show themselves off when you got heavey reflections to render. or GI lighning with it..... STRAT
but then a HDRI wont light up a gi scene any better than a normal bitmap. but it'll certainly take longer

gods418
hi guys! i`m using Dreamscape to make sky`n`clouds. looks very realistic. problem with dreamscape is not compatible with vray, and the dreamscape sun is not supported by vray renderer. but dreamscape sky is perfect for animations.
