alexford
Pulling my hair out at trying to make this tap, by which I mean the 3 spoke handle, knob whatever you want to call it. This seems to be the most complicated object in the world, I've tried with a star spline and working from there, sort of got the shape but then where it merges into a cylinder it completely loses me. Heres a picture Any ideas?

alexford
http://www.oktutorials.com/3d-studio-max-tutorials/modeling/grohe-allure-faucet Thanks, really great tutorial but I figured it out myself by the time this thread actually got posted... I figured out I could do it with a loft compound. This whole thread review before its posted thing seems a bit over the top. I know its a spam prevention method for new members, but it deters people from using these forums as its pretty frustrating. Because you have to wait so long before you can receive any advice from other members you tend to just go elsewhere and forget about the thread... My 2 cents. Any ideas? You're on the right track. Few ways to do it from there. One of them can be to union the tristar with a cylinder, then turbosmooth, it will smooth out the place where it joins. Or you can chamfer with the new quadchamfer in 2015
