Keyboard Short Cuts Max 2015 Not working

Hi

Anybody have this issue.

Max 2015 under subscription, and the file opens fine and then after a while they just stop working.

 

I have checked if they are assigned still and they are, and the toggle is still on.

 

So I am stumped.

I have put it up in the The Area, but I may as well be shouting out the window.

 

Help would be greateful.

Ok So after a lot of messing they have for some genius reason, made it that you must be in an active layer to be able to use the keyboard short cuts.

So if i am in a frozen layer the short cuts won't work.

 

Not very useful.......... a bug.?

You want the override toggle to be off. With it on, certain shortcuts will be activated depending on what you have selected.

if all esle fails, delete your 3dsmax.ini file and it will reset. I lost my entire keyboard functions in Max last week and couldn't get them back, even compared the old and new .ini in Notepad++ and couldn't see what happened. I lost some customization, but I needed to keep working.

My problem is similar but not exactly the same. Keyboard shortcuts seem to be working fine EXCEPT the delete key!? Any ideas? Its working fine in other apps and my install of 3ds max 2012 - but not in 2015....

Same problem here, I did try everything to get the keyboard shortcuts to work, nothing works !

 

EDIt : I've found why finally : Active was unchecked ( look at the image ) i don't know why that's weird... It's fine now !
