jackpedleham
Im new to Vray too and Vray RT is fine but Vray Adv is what i would use for actual renders i only really ever use RT for activeshade. If the render is grainy try adding a reflection, lighting and GI element to the render and check to see where the noise is coming from. If its in the GI increase your GI samples. if its in the lighting increase light subdivs and if its in reflection then increase your material reflection subdivisions. Hope that helps Jack
JeremyRamsay
I haven't much experience of RT but this is a really useful article that still might be applicable about how to reduce noise and optimize your renders. Tough to get through at first but come back to it a little at a time and it'll help enormously. http://www.cggallery.com/tutorials/vray_optimization/
