Design Reform is run by Case Inc. It was started by David Fanno (and others) who was once upon a time part of Shop Architects. His work is computation heavy and his explanations are extremely clear.

Likewise, Zachary Downing was a Shop Architects guy if not still (http://www.designalyze.com/tutorials).

But one thing regarding Grasshopper is that it is a community driven learning scene. The original name was Explicit History and its workflow is just that. Like 3DS Max's Modifier stacks, it keeps track of every move you have made during your model, but has the unique ability to reference every step into every other step. You will advance faster the more you understand about the way computers construct geometry and the rest is just managing the tree level of the data. This simply means that if you have a folder in a folder in a folder on your desktop (for example), the information you are trying to draw upon will all need to appear in the same explorer window/ folder.

Good luck. Grasshopper has helped me out of many design problems and is the logic structure that I base my modeling off of.
