Tsiki
I'm using max 2010 While working on my model, unexpected tiled floor turn to background color of the tiles ignoring the texture. Nothing of the following resolve my problem.: Creating new material. Using different texture JPG file I check the "Standard Display with maps" on material editor. Restart the PC. I also open my backup file and the same display problem. From the other hand, it appears in my rendered image. Any idea, please
heni30
Did you press and disengage the "Display shaded material in viewport" button (light bulb icon at bottom of material samples) by mistake? Needs to be pressed in both the material and map windows.

Tsiki
Thank you s much. It was tricky to find all places need to switch on the "Show Map in Viewport" because of several elements linked to create texture tiles. All the best,
