Rich O
Take the coloured walls in this photo for instance In reality they're not actually flat, and I'd like to simulate that subtle variation. I am thinking something like a subtle bump map, however the problem is I'm not sure what said bump map should really look like? Had a good look in CGtextures' grunge section but there's nothing in there that looks like it has the look I'm after. Any ideas?
jasonstewart
Berconnoise would be my suggestion.
Chris MacDonald
A very subtle "dirt" or "grunge" map in the reflection glossiness slot would do the trick.

Stephen Thomas
This is worth reading. Some useful textures too. http://bertrand-benoit.com/blog/2012/04/15/materialism-1/
