komyali
Never ending question. Have same 9800 objects copied, I need 98 groups of 100 to be instanced? Found this script but like I see in video everything would be instanced. Does anybody know good script for this, I am in a hurry so I dont have time to research scriptspot and test every script. tnx
Zdravko Barisic
You have 9800 already copied objects, with no groups? So, you want to make, of these already copied objects, 98 groups, each group made of 100 objects? What script you did already find? Maybe it can be re-written? Corey Beaulieu
Um... your script is called the Select Tool. Select manually your 100 objects, make a group and instance it to where the other objects are; Hide your groups and then delete the leftover. If you are talking about 98 "objects" that are actually made from 100 pieces, then make your 98 groups that aren't instanced, select one as your Instance, change the layer and use Max's internal Clone-Align Tool. komyali
http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/instance-tool you are right I have 9800 just copied, but I will group them by name so it will go "easy"... 98 groups, in every group 100 objects instance, no connection between groups... dam I forget to group them before so one hour more...
