VRay Toon without shadows?

Hello there,

 

 

I was rendering with Vray Toon effect to get this outline renders and get some sketchy images. But I am trying to get one without shadows and I have no idea how can I do that.

 

 

Any ideas??

Put a vray light material in your override material slot, that'll give you a toon outline which you can do what you like with in post.

if I put a vray light material the model is completely black. Which settings should I change in the material.

 

 

And also I have a vray sun in the scene,

Turn off all lights, GI, camera exposure.

Drop a vray light material into the override material slot (look in the vray manual for this).

Turn on vray toon.

 

The image should render white, with black toon lines.

 

The composite this how ever you see fit. The easiest option is to screen this over the render in say Photoshop.
