questions about RPC stuff...

I'm overjoyed that my company is finally going to let me purchase some RPC material. I'm getting a people collection (casual people v5) and a tree collection (trees v5 deciduous)...

 

Couple of questions for those of you using RPC:

-Should I update to RPC 3 (I'm running viz 4) or just use the existing RPC 2 plug-in??

 

-Can I create my own RPC content with my own photos? (doesn't have to be 360) how do you do that?

 

Any tips for an RPC newbie? ;-)

NO, its not really needed. Only if you are going to buy cars or other 3D+ content. But I would update all RPC plugs and get the ACM as well....

Download the RPC creator from the Archvision website, and you can make your own RPC content..

yo can create rpc content just with a simple photo, but you can't use for animations just for still images......so if you will amke animations you will need to have a lot of photos from different angles........

actually you can use them for animations, just click the billboard option. Now the content will always render towards the camera.
