Photoshop and RPC

Hi all,

I am trying to install the RPC Photoshop plugin without success. Anybody else had trouble installing it? It gets part way through and then an error about writing API files crops up. I am using Photoshop CS even though the plug-in asks whether you are using version 5.5,6 or 7. I assume it would work with CS also? Any help appreciated.

Just for info, I am logged on as administrator with full access rights, using XP Pro.

Many thanks.

Good idea, Jim

BTW: my problem was with PS7. I emailed argie_uk this same file a few days ago. Never heard from him to know if it helped or not.

Here is the explaination that came with it:

"This is an issue we are working to resolve. But in the mean time, I have

sent you the Photoshop files with this email. You will need to place the

RPCautomate.8li in [Adobe Installation directory]\Plug-ins\Adobe Photoshop

Only\Automate\ directory. Then the other files will go into the root

Photoshop directory. You will need to edit the RPCautomate.ini file to

point to a directory with RPC Content in it."

Good luck, y'all
