philvanderloo
I'm messing around with some glass materials on different objects and wondering why these objects aren't showing in shaded view unless they are selected. They show up fine in wireframe but disappear when view is switched to shaded. All 3 have a slightly different material applied so I doubt it's a material issue? heni30
It's because the glass materials are transparent. You can create a test material on an object and move the refract slider and watch it disappear. You can use edged faces to see where things are. Chris MacDonald
It's because your material has 100% refraction. Watch what happens if you take it down to 70%.
Tommy L
You can disable viewport transparency in the viewport configs if you like.
