Roodogg
Hi. I've created a 3D site and completed all road systems / curbs / paving. Now the client, after telling me it's all pretty flat, needs to show the levels as it is actually on a hillside. I thought, using an FFD modifier on all my landscape would do the trick, and it does work. However, I need to rotate and scale the volume of the lattice to fit the landscape and it does not work! It simply uses the default lattice shape with default rotation, therefore is useless. Is this a bug? I've tested and tested and would be interested if someone else could reproduce the problem. I'm using MAX 2014. Thanks in advance. [solved] I may be wrong, but I think you must make sure all rotation ('Lattice' Sub-object level) and editing ('Set Volume' Sub object level) are done in that order, before you move any Control Points. Seems to work now, however I think that's a bug. Maybe it's fixed in more recent versions Edited October 14, 2014 by Roodogg Not Solved
Roodogg
Correction: The rotation works. Moving points within 'Set Volume' has no effect on deformation.
