szi_zsolt
Hi guys! This is my first post to this site, so I'm trying not to ask stupid things I've read several topics and descriptions about Brazil r/s GI solutions, and still don't know how to overcome my issue. I've also gone through the Splutterfish tutorial regarding photon mapping. There is lot to do with the pic, but first I have to solve the 'splotch' problem You can see, the ceiling is full of splotches. I tried out hundreds of parameter sets, rendered hundreds of images without finding the proper settings. Could you help me? Thanks in advance. rivoli
look like coplanar faces to me, i'd check your geometry first. for what i can see doesn't seem a problem of undersamplig.
szi_zsolt
Thanks guys for the tips, I will check the geometry. rivoli : you are right I think, because the sampling was 3 to 4 (min-max), and it should be enough. Will come back withthe result.

rivoli
hi! try using Vray r\s. its more usefull and faster in arch viz than Brasil. just belive me well, your comment doesn't sound that useful to me. apart from feeding the never ending vray vs brazil discussion it doesn't help at all. unless you were suggesting to solve this specific problem by getting rid of brazil and buying a vray license. a bit drastic as a solution. IMO.
