agussalimzulfan Posted October 27, 2014 Share Posted October 27, 2014 hi, i'm new to 3ds max, i have a problem on user machine. 2 machine with the same spec intel® Xeon® CPU E5-1620 @ 3.60GHZ Qaudro K2000 16 GB RAM 2x 1TB HDD and the same file. when rendering on 1 machine the cpu usage is 100% but the other is between 20-60%, all are default setting. anyone can help me with this issue. heni30 Posted October 31, 2014 Share Posted October 31, 2014 I went to System - Performance Info and tools - You'll see your CPU score there (should be 7.x) - Adjust powers settings - Balanced - Change plan settings - Change advanced power settings - Then at the top I chose High Performance. My 4770k was rendering 30% slower than my i7 920. Now it's rendering twice as fast. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
