martincozl
Hi, could someone help me? I tried to use Alpha layer rendered scene (with transparent background) from Sketchup as a mask layer in Photoshop, but there is some white halo effect around rendered objects. I had to edit in the same way as in this tutorial- http://www.lynda.com/Photoshop-tutorials/Removing-halos-Darken/48372/51450-4.html Is there any way how to render correctly - Alpha vs. RGB model? Can be this problem solved by atialiasing? My settings of antialiasing is in attachement. Thank you for help.
Chris MacDonald
try going to layer/matting/defringe or remove black/white matte. You might have to apply your alpha channel to the layer to do this though.
RyderSK
What Chris said, plus working with selection mask refinement. But what you should have done in rendering, is to render against black background, without any additional AA filter.
Tommy L
Try to preserve your alpha, you never know when you might need it... Go to 'refine mask' in the selection dropdown. you can offset it inward by maybe a pixel, then feather by .2 pixel, have a play around with the settings.
