Discovered Octane render

Just used my old University email address (I'm a recent grad) and I've got a free student license :-) Version 1.20 is free as long as you register with your school's email. No other piece of justification needed. It works for the standalone and the plugin version.

I really like the software so far and i'll seriously consider buying it. It's just too nice to be able to preview your scene and mostly materials almost instantly. Also, no need to spend much time tweaking 56 000 parameters, the lighting is just great with the default settings.

I'm working a on small project and i'll see how it goes for production. The downside at the moment for me seems to be the lack of cloud rendering options :-S Not that huge of a problem if i'm making stills but for a video...it's gonna be difficult.

Any of you guys use octane regularly?
