landrvr1
lol. I've got an issue with viewing a large body of water through 2 different panes of glass. The camera is placed in the building with the curtain wall glass, then there's a glass railing further back. The problem is that by the time you are looking through through two panes of glass the water is incredibly dark. In reality this isn't going to happen near as much. Any suggestions? Tnx With no water everything is pretty much okay: Add the water and things get wonky! Just one layer of glass isn't bad: Here's my water settings:

Zdravko Barisic
How about Vray dialog > Global swithces > Materials refraction, etc...settings?
Ismael
Try making the fog white and affect all channels in the Reflection?
landrvr1
Thanks guys. None of those suggestions seemed to have any affect.
jasonstewart
have you tried increasing max depth on both materials refraction?
Zdravko Barisic
Also, try this http://www.vray-materials.de/ to find some good glass mat. Maybe it helps you.
Chris MacDonald
have you tried increasing max depth on both materials refraction? This is what's causing the black glass railings. As for your glass, remove the map in the refraction slot and set it to pure white, and tick fresnel reflections [linked to your refraction IOR] Edited November 4, 2014 by Macker
landrvr1
Thanks everyone. I bumped up the Max depth reflection/refraction at the V-Ray Global switches to just 5 and it solved the issue without any significant rendertime increases. @Zdravko you were correct! Sorry, I bumped the wrong setting at first....
