Feedback needed for new machine (for an architect)

Hi all,

 

Architect girfriend's new job asked her the specs of her new machine and they prefer it to be under $2500 (yeah I know it is now enough for a really good one, so some corners had to be cut).

 

I am trying to help her, but my last build was years ago and I am not an architect. So, I've been researching for a while to come up with a list. It is given as a pcpartpicker link at the end but the highlights are:

• i7-5820K 6 Core
  
• Gigabyte GA-X99-UD4
  
• G.Skill 32GB RAM
  
• EVGA GTX 970 4GB Superclocked ACX
  

Here are some details:

• It will be primarily used for Revit, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD and 3DS Max. Two or three of them can be running at the same time.
  
• Smooth viewport navigation is aimed for small to medium-scale projects
  
• It will be used for both modeling and rendering; although rendering performance is less important than viewport performance (additional nodes can be added later)
  
• It would be great if we can get a ~4x better render and ~2x better viewport performance compared to her current machine (which is i7 2600K, 8GB, GTX 560)
  
• I've added 2x 1920x1080 monitors but do you think one 3840x1080 monitor would be better? Do those 3D programs handle these resolutions well enough?
