harryhirsch
plenty that u could do...what do u want to achieve? realism? use better cutout people, trees, cars. There is not much shadow visible, and the shadow between the people and the building is in a different directon. There is no interior in the building. The buidling barely fits in the view, use better textures for the street and the paving.

stanislavmikhailov
That's what I would do with this picture. Change point of view, improve the textures and materials, darken asphalt, use a better cars models, use three-dimensional models of trees, do not use transparent people, better do them in motion blur, illuminate the room from the inside, maby use different sky and trees in the background (good free cut-out pictures of the sky, trees and people can be found here: http://www.vishopper.com) remove the grid lines if you want to achieve more realism. Good luck!)

timothystone
Sorry, I posted the wrong image as far as the shadows go. I did want to high light the entrance, but i thgt it would be best to show actually how the sun light will hit the building given the buildings orientation. thanks for the help again!!! M V
Best advice I can give is to look at photos. Look at http://archinect.com/ and look at real life images of projects. Look at the lighting, people, landscape. And look at how shadows cast. Those trees shadows are just plain sad my man. Try using 3D trees maybe. Are you rendering with a dome light? The facade lacks any interesting lighting. "Tell the Story" Create a scene depicting this building at it's peak moment. Maybe try a night scene. I always find that these come alive more and don't take much more effort.
heni30
The first things I see are: No window reflections - that can just be added in PS and would help a lot. Trees seem smallish. Road/sidewalk are blotchy Sky is kind of too purply. People are stiffish and isolated Low quality pickup is ruining the effect - epecially compared to the slick white car on the left. Adjacent building looks like it's being lit by blue light. Foreground grass should be an even tone of color to give it better definition.
