komyali
what is maximum number of maps per polygon, I have very big polygon and have a map for it (20 000 pixels), that map is possible to create with 21 small maps, because it is organic form it is very difficult to separate on different polygons and gave them different ID... vray blend material can help me but it only have 9 materials, multi sub object material need different IDs, anxžy sugestion? Corey Beaulieu
I don't at all understand what you are trying to do, but you can always pipe additional maps into an object using the Vray MultiTex. Blend is using separate materials and that is a different scenario. Materials have different bump values and reflection qualities, etc... Maps only effect on channel of the Material (Diffuse). Nicolai Bongard
Vray blend maps can be put into other vray blend maps.
komyali
yes that is what I am thinking about, is it better to go with very big map, or separate it like this blend in blend map, because of memory and time rendering?
