nickcolavita
I am brand new to the cgarchitect community. I'd like to say hi. I have been a 3D artist for 5+ years working in military training and simulation. I recently left that field down in Orlando to pursue better opportunities in the north east. (PA, NJ, NYC). I am really looking for some guidance from the community on this one. I have been looking around but would like to know a list of studios/firms in the New York City area that are in this industry. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! P.S. I will also be posting some renders on the forums for review and critiques from now on. You should be seeing me around these parts more often
Corey Beaulieu
As far as studios go, Neoscape and DBox are both in NYC and from what I understand, there is a large Freelance industry there as well. Post our work or a link to a portfolio and you may have more response.
nickcolavita
I appreciate the response. I'll look into those studios. I have a friend that works at The Visual House in NYC as well. Freelance would be good but I'd like to land a steady job. If I have to freelance I absolutely will. Once I have more pieces done I will be posting a website with work. Thanks again. nickcolavita
Thanks a lot Ernest. I live in PA. I can commute to NYC without a problem. I have family members who have done it in the past.
