komyali
I have presentation, 15 small videos 1 minute long. I dont want to merge them in one big video because then I would need to pres pause when I need to finish my sentence, or speek faster. If I leave separated files it will be much better for me to control presentation flow, but the question is what program to use so on my one mouse klick space or arrow it start new video file? Is it possible with After effects and does somebody have tutorial for that, also what would be good to insert loop gif file between animations. Power point sometimes have problems with videos. Any solutions or experiences with this?
Amen
I would use the pdf format for your presentation. You can even layout everything in InDesign. Use the Adobe Media encoder to transcode your video files if InDesign does not recognize your video format. In Indesign Export for PDF (Interactive). Under window>interactive>media you can change how your movies start. I hope this helps.

komyali
Ok I just tried with in design and pdf, it works better than power point that stops every second. My problem is I have no clue with In Design... Can you help me, I have 15 videos 1 minute long, and looped gifs between, how to layout everything in in design? Amen
You can use the Place command or just drag and drop objects. Those Objects are usually in a kind of a container. The outer container works like a mask but for movie clips you would just treat both as one object. InDesign is really easy to use. With a tutorial you can get the hang of it in a day. Corey Beaulieu
I seem to remember having to process the videos through flash first and then exporting the InDesign file as an interactive PDF. This allows you to have a PDF of each video on a new page and even choose your own thumbnail.
Amen
The Adobe Media encoder to transcode to .flv or anything else, that indesign can read. Also in InDesign you can add a different thumbnail other than just a frame from the movie.
notamondayfan
To make things really simple, what you could do is make each animation 5 mins long (1 min of animation, 4 mins of last frame frozen / black), and then when you're finished, press forward. komyali
nice, I will try to export looped gif from quick time to looped animation, so that would be my transition, and while it is looped I can talk Too bad power point didnt support animations (quality) it have very good automatic and timed transmisions... As for In Design I found out basic just what I need? My question is pdf video inside file compressed, or is it taking video from folder like proxy? Just to know I dont want to go to presentation with small X in corner and missing files
Amen
The Pdf Presentation I did with a movie inside, the media was embedded inside the pdf. But it is better if your clips are not to big in filesize. A 200mb pdf is quite big...

komyali
The Pdf Presentation I did with a movie inside, the media was embedded inside the pdf. But it is better if your clips are not to big in filesize. A 200mb pdf is quite big... Thanks it works File is 74 mb but on maximum 190mb, when I put some other stuff inside it will be 250 mb but I think that is not big problem. Is it possible to insert some effects in pdf or in design like in power point, fade in fade out when changing slides (pages)?
Amen
I do not know. I have never used it. But would it not be to much movement anyway, if you have your movies in the pdf?
