jesperlarsen
Hi I am using a lot of AutoCADs curtain walls rendered in 3DS with vray. My problem is that the glass edges are on exact same location as the mullions and frames, which give me splotches on all my glass edges. I have tried to change the exit color of my glass with no luck. Does anyone have a good trick to fix this with? Should I work with the glass material or try to find a modifier to my geometry? - I cannot change the way that AutoCAD makes the geometry of the glass panels and therefor I can offset the glass 1mm to avoid this issue. Chris MacDonald
It's Z fighting between the glass and frames that causes that. If it's a big problem, just add a "push" modifier to all of your glass to push the edges in to the frames by like 0.5mm
