philvanderloo
At first, when I applied materials to exterior walls in my Max scene, the materials applied to both sides of the wall, (interior and exterior). Model imported from Revit. So I went into revit and changed the structure of the walls by adding 1/2" layer of gyp board to the inside thinking this would solve the problem. Now some walls show the material on both sides and some don't?? Same wall styles. You can see the yellow stucco inside through the windows. I did make sure that in the vray material double sided was unchecked. But it didn't change anything. I also tried applying different materials but got the same effect. Chris MacDonald
Welcome to the wonderful world of Revit. Any normal person would assign the the yellow stucco a material ID of 1, and the white interior paint as a material ID of 2. Not Revit though. It'll assign them at random. Bravo Autodesk.
