mahasoofmohammed
Hey guys ! Its about this toilet and kitchen that I made in 3DS Max and Vray for my friend's dad, I modeled everything myself (Even though I suck at it) but for me my renders don't look real enough . What can I add to this to make my renders more real Thanks !!

siddharthkolte
My suggestion would be to add a drain somewhere in the toilet bcos at the moment there is no provision for the water from the shower to go anywhere. Also add some more details like toilet paper roll and some accessories like toothbrush, shaving kit etc. Also like some fluffy towel would give a more feel to the bathroom. For a design thing may be a shower curtain would be a good idea as well as a small lip to the shower area so that the water from the shower area doesn't make the whole bathroom wet. I don't see a provision for shampoo or soap anywhere as well. I like the yellow tiling option really nice. It naturally brightens the room. For a technical point of view. Place a Vray Light in the back of the camera with only diffuse on, no reflection or specular to put more light into the scene. Also for more realistic try removing vignetting from the camera you can add it in photoshop later if required but for this scene won't be required. Also a fun thing to try which is sort of cheaty lighting but looks good none the less... you can place a spherical light without reflection or specular directly under the light source and somewhat in the middle of the room. the radius should be medium to large depending on the soft shadows you want in the scene.
