benjaminvelure
Started learning Vray for Rhino a few months ago and decided to render some of my projects from architecture school. I've done amateur photography for several years, so I'm depending quite a lot on photoshop to get the final result. Note that the timber wall is partially covered with glass to create a trombe wall, hence the reflection.
Devin Johnston
The glass covered wood wall is confusing to look at, I'd try turning down the reflectivity or adding some noise into the reflection to break up the uniformity of it. Other than that I think it looks great.

benjaminvelure
That's weird. This one too?
heni30
Dog's behind is un-aesthetic. Seriously though, I think the big sheet of glass would be more transparent - like the lower glass - if the inside is fully lit. The foreground is too jagged/high contrast and distracts from showing off the building (too much visual static). Lone crow is distracting. Stone wall seems compressed on the front side. philippelamoureux
This building is a bit of a mind**** lol!!! maybe another camera angle would make it easier to read!!!
benjaminvelure
Thanks a lot for the input! Showing it to someone who hadn't seen the 3D-modell I realized it is actually a bit hard to make out the shape of the building from the chosen angle. Tidying up the foreground is probably good advice too!
TomD_Arch
Something about the interior perspective seems off, and the woman seems just a tiny bit to big. George is right, dog's ass needs to go. Maybe consider putting the dog in front of man and looking back as if waiting for the master to catch up, or maybe just the head peeking up from down slope as if he has just come out to great the guy back home??? It's important to tell a story, but it also has to be a good story. And I really cant figure out what that glass is doing, where is is coming from, how it fits into the construction.
