Problem with render elements in photoshop

Hi,

I've recently had a problem with my render elements in Photoshop, it's never happened before and I don't think I've done anything differently so I can't work it out.

Basically when i use my render elements they are affecting the whole image rather than just the areas they should be. As an example, I had several different light select elements but when I set them to screen in Photoshop, the whole image was getting brighter rather than just where the light was. If anyone's come across this problem before i'd appreciate and help?

Thanks

Hey Joe,

Perhaps you have saved out the images from your Vray frame buffer with the curves turned on? If so, the black in your light select passes won't be pure black, which means setting it to screen in PS will cause brightening in your image.

I find this happens sometimes when I am rendering masks...
