matiassukanec
Good morning (First time here) Sorry for my english (I'm using google translator). I made five renders for a client in size 1920x1080 300dpi. Now I ask them in size 2x3 meters each, 50/70 dpi resolution. How I can do this? BEFORE lower dpi rendering? Or how would you do the task? From already thank you very much.
Scott Schroeder
Before you get all confused with dpi/ppi.... In Max, go to the Rendering Menu and select Print Size assistant. Plug in your numbers there and it will spit out the resolution you need to render at. For 50dpi at 2x3m print size, it tells you that your render size needs to be 5905x3937. That should be more than enough resolution at that large of print. You can even use that exact resolution and print at 70dpi and not notice any difference unless you look through a magnifying glass.
