Mwnci
I've used Autocad for a while but I'm new to ADT (2005) and I'm trying to find a way to chamfer the wall surrounding the window - so that the opening on the inside is larger than that of the outside. What is the best way to do this? Do I need to edit the wall by hand somehow or is there a way to make a custom window type that would automatically boolean a chamfered cutout from the wall? Thanks in advance. Ffion
Kerry Thompson
Hi A couple of ways I would look at this - use a door/windows assembly to contain the window, and use a profile for the exterior frame of the assembly. The profile would be the width of the wall and chamfered back to get the effect that you want OR look at using a body modifier on the wall to create the chamfered hole in the wall and then place the window into it.
