Cast shadow via vray render elements

Hello!

I would like to lighten an architectural scene with the natural sun to check the cast of hard shadows to neighbour buildings. I am not interested in contact shadows of objects.

I thought about vray render elements so that I can color the shadow afterwards in Photoshop. But somehow I do not really know which elements I should use.

 

Do you guys know a workflow for my problem?

Ok, after some tweaking I found a solution to my problem.

I used "VrayLightSelect" render element and pushed the multiplier up to 1000. This produces a contrast between black and white eg shadow and sun.
