silversilverv Posted February 22, 2015 Share Posted February 22, 2015 I'm new to 3ds max and I feel like I'm missing something obvious. Simple materials render differently than they display in the view port. It doesn't matter what object, and I created half a dozen different materials, every time it's way off in the render. I've attached a couple images to show the difference. The box on the right has a UVW map and I can a just it as normal in the view port, but rendering produces vastly different results. I feel like there's some simple button I accidentally clicked or something. Any help or ideas is appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
