h3d
Fellow Maxers/Vrayers I recently brought in a very large Revit scene - saved as an FBX and imported in. There were no issues or errors when doing this. I have an override material on and the scene will render if I have some of it isolated. However if the whole scene is visible I get the attached error. No matter what changes I make after that, the next render crashes Max. I have a 32gb system and the memory is only reaching 15gb before the error happens. Any thoughts on this are much appreciated. Kind Regards, GregH
Smile of Fury
Is it always that particular wall that shows up in the error message?
h3d
Is it always that particular wall that shows up in the error message? Hey Ben It's a whole smear of geometry. If I delete the specific geometry call out that is giving the error another just pops up.
siddharthkolte
You have too many objects in the scene... Vray cannot handle like 1000 objects... Just combine similar objects into one object and that exception(error) will be gone even if the poly count is the same, the number of objects should be less for Vray to process it.
