stanleybrusse
From my personal experience, that's exactly why I'd go for a 256 or even a 512 Gb c: drive. Leave it all on default and all the scratch/temp files will be on c:\, no worries. As for the second SSD for project files : 1) we are used to work with project folder in max. And those (for me) need to be on a separate drive as a project can often take up to 300-500 Go. That doesn't fit into your OS drive. 2) If you have any issue with your OS, just format OS and done, your files are intact on your project drive. 3) It's way cleaner to have a project drive than having that walking around on c:\users\tectonic\desktop\projet_69 As a chef in a kitchen, working consistency, with good product and clean benches leads you to good work. After that, just let your NAS do the sync from both of the workstations project drive and you'll have the speed/power of localizing everything plus the network with colleagues.
