sky
I'm doing a project in which I have topo lines given at 5' increments on a 2d autocad file. What I want to do is to create more topo lines so that the increment is 1' between lines. In other words I want to divide the space up between the two topo lines quickly. Is there any command in autocad which will automatically give you the median line between two lines? Seems like it should be a basic command, maybe some variation of the offset command. Any help would be great. Thanks!
JamesTaylor
how about using the array tool or even the divide command to create nodes which can be used to snap to
David Barbarash
I know that Eagle Point software and LandCad can do this... you want to look for "Contour Interpolation" Maybe there are a few scripts that are laying around the net?
Ernest Burden III
Be sure to note on your docs that the topos are NOT accurate. Interpolation = guess
