Jeff Mottle
You'd have to read the licence agreement, but I doubt it. However you can transfer your licence back and forth. There is also a 2 or 3 day window in there just in case you forget to being the licence back with you the next day. I don't think Discreet does this (not positive), but many companies are now allowing a copy on your workstation and on your laptop. As long as you own both and they are not being used simulatanously. Arnold Sher
actually this has nothing to do with rgb or cmyk... Yes these do make a difference however what you are experiencing, from the sounds of it, is a diffrence in a display set in two different programs. Both programs allow display set up if you have a look. Now in order to see both images all you need to do is make sure that both set ups are exactly the same. The reason why it is allows to play with the way your image is displayed is for repro purposes. You can set up an image in such a way that should you open an image on a different computer the "physical" properties of the image remain the same and therefore will not impact the way you print image... I hope this makes sense as i've been up for way too many hours to out this in a proper sentence...lol

Josh1587140445
You should be able to have a copy of Max at home. I don't know the exact language in the licence agreement, but at least for VIZ you can have a copy at work and at home because in you will be the only one using it and can not be working on both machines at the same time. Jim Mann
With Max you need to transfer the license using the "Portable License Utility". You only get a days grace once it has transferred although on one of my machines you don't get any grace! You can transfer by manually entering the transfer code or you can import/export the license using a transfer file. You also get the first 30 days after installing Max to run the program without authorising it. Jim
