Roodogg
Hi everyone. I'm rendering some large expanses of grass with Autograss and I want it to fall off at a distance just like it does in a computer game - much like the 'dim' setting on the v-ray material, but to control the entire object / materials visibility. Mainly to save computation time but also because the texture underneath is more random and actually looks better at a distance. I've tried filling the opacity slot with falloff /distance blend but it seems to stall the rendering even more. IMO, the 'Renderable' checkbox in an object's properties should have a dim setting itself, but is there any way to do this in MAX / Vray? Thanks in advance.
