Larissa Holderness
- Cars that are 'driving' down the street .... and have NO one driving. These cars usually have the 'evermotion' license plate too. - Seeing the SAME people in EVERY scene. - Tiled textures. - Neon colored grass. I could go on and on. Frosty
Scale issues! Floor/roof thicknesses, door/window sizes, people/cars. As an architect mistakes in scale are glaring to me.
Nic H
every image looking the same the same libraries the huge amount of copy cat 'artists' does my head in the conservative nature of arch vis the banality of the everyday shined up to look 'aspirational' zzzzzzzz
Justin Hunt
The "aspirational" made me chuckle, I recently got a comment for some foodcourt images I have been doing," Make the food more aspirational" .

tomsproule1
Halo's created in photoshop. I know I'm guilty sometimes, when the time frame is super tight and I just don't notice it until later, but that annoys. Or reflections in windows of something which just would never be there or isn't in the image - again photoshop error.
branskyj
Vignetting. I know it is found on real photos too but for me it's just a way to obscure detail or mask imperfections.

martinhoura
I love vignette, I am using it whenever possible I am duct taping my glasses to get a real life vignette effect as I am typing this, patent pending.
Justin Hunt
I tape toilet roll tubes to my glasses, that way I can also see really close up with excessive DOF and vignetting, best of both worlds

adamsargeant
When we say we all hate rendering cliches, but put them in our renderings anyway because client's love them and we want to be paid. I was going through this thread from page 1 hoping this comment did not exist, as i wanted to say it! haha Tiling and lack of detail is my biggest hate. Also, brick textures that end up with say a quarter brick on the corner or around fenestration. Have i ever done any of the above. YES. Will i do them again. Definitely not! Oh and i just can't place people in a scene.. Its my weakness!
ibrahimyounis
Many thinks specially bad camera angle/prespective , Flat textures and normal material with no layers and too orgonized texture totally unreallistic (the world is randomly made ) Too clean picture like it is from anime ! . Larissa Holderness
I know it has been said (probably I said it before already) ... but, transparent people, transparent trees ... transparent things that are NOT transparent in real life. One thing that used to be awesome in renders (when done correctly) that now drives me up a wall is chromatic aberration. It is overused now. People in the wrong perspective or looking AT the 'camera' ... drives me nuts too.
Nic H
Kids with balloons yep i hate kids with baloons other things i hate: close ups of taps or couches close ups of 3d food the same lens glare copied around onto every light scenes made entirely of stock models nice.ies 3d people looking out windows tvs with movies on them
heni30
Balloon vendors selling balloons to kids - they're the real culprits! Larissa Holderness
The overuse of the SAME people all the time. Which is why I 'ban' certain people photos from my renders after being used a few times. BAN STICK!
heni30
^ I like some figures so much I'll layer out their clothes that I can vary in color. (not too bad because the outline is already cut out) I've even moved eye pupils when the cashier isn't quite engaging the customer.
