eriantosandjaja
So yeah, I was wondering how to delete materials that are located on scene materials.(in Slate mode: you can find scene materials on bottom left.) I tried pressing delete and the red X button but it doesnt affect scene materials. Trying to render it via rebusfarm and this problematic material kept stopping it from being exported. Please help . Tried googling for solution to no avail.
Nicolai Bongard
Scene materials are materials you have applied to something in your scene. Try the select objects by material function and apply another material to the object(s), then the SSS material should dissappear from the scene materials. eriantosandjaja
Thank you for the fast reply Nicolai. I done like you suggested and replace the materials with a new one, however the SSS still showing up. Okay, so the full story is that I'm trying to use Rebus Farm to render my image and this SSS error keep popping up no matter what I've done. The materials didn't show up on the scene materials anymore but somehow when I try to export it to rebus farm, it keep getting detected. do you have any experience with Rebus farm and encounter this problem before? If you have , please advice. Thanks a lot for the previous help.
Nicolai Bongard
I am stuck in the dark ages and render all my stuff locally, so i have no experience with Rebus farm. However, a few more things you could check: Unhide everything and make sure the object with the SSS material is not somewhere amongst hidden stuff. Also open (not ungroup) all your groups in case the sss material is on an object in a group. Then select everything, open a new tab in the material editor and use the Get material from selected function. Then you should get all the materials on all the objects. Go through and make sure none of them are SSS. If it is there, try to replace it. If the problem still persists, try to make a new scene, copy all your geometry and settings and see if that fixes it. eriantosandjaja
HSo, I tried like you said. even import the models into another scene but, the materials still there. Luckily I know which one it is and decide to delete it from the scene. Still didn't work. However, I found there's an option from rebus farm to render it with 1 pc which allow you to use the SSS material. Hahaha, Thanks anyway Nicolai! Appreciate your help!
