chrisparrott
Bit of a funny one. I've got some Vray cameras across a model for some visuals. However, now I would like to have a walkthrough animation through the model BUT it needs to pause at where the original cameras are set up and produce the same image. So my question is, can I link the still cameras into one walkthrough animation? A way I thought might work is if I copied all information from one camera (position, properties etc) and applied it to a single camera as keyframe information, then repeat. Anyway, does anyone have any thoughts? Thanks! Edited April 16, 2015 by chrisparrott
Smile of Fury
That seems like a good plan, but a few issues to keep in mind... - Are the existing views already at the same aspect ratio as the planned animation? (probably 16:9?) - Do the existing cameras already have the same focal length/film gate etc? - Do the existing cameras have the same exposure settings? If these things all change between the different cameras you will potentially have some weird changes going on as the camera path is animated. Might be best to just use the position from the existing cameras if there is enough difference in their settings.
