marcinwuu
Hello all, After couple months away from 3dsmax and spending that time with blender i forgot a lot. Now, i am trying re learn max. I use 2015 version and have problem with extruding edges/borders. I would like to achieve the result from the last image but via extrude. However, extrude gives me the result that is on the picture 4. I have tried snaps and constraints but I wasn't able to solve the problem. Would someone help me out with this please? I spend last 2 days trying to do it but can find the answer. Who knows, maybe this is correct behavior? Thanks in advance
mehdyt
I would rather use Shift Drag + entering the desired value for the corresponding axis in the coordinate boxes ( viewport bottom right )
marcinwuu
Hey, thanks for the reply. And yes, that's one way of doing it. But do you thing it is possible to achieve it with extrude tool, that remembers last setting?
mehdyt
It works that way only with faces , you can always delete the unwanted one.
