akbargherbal
Hello everyone. I have a question. Suppose I have a surface textured with procedural map (noise, speckle, smoke etc).... Now I want to export this textured surface from 3ds max to Photoshop with the same coordinate. What is the best way to do this? I hope my question is clear. mjklm
I guess the best solution to that problem that comes first to my mind would be to apply your texture to the plane object and bake the map afterwards. Baking the texture can be done in various ways and there are few steps to it so it would be for the best for you to check it out over the web on your own. The most basic yet effective method would be to use built-in baking to texture function which uses mentalray.
jasonstewart
Unwrap the objectAdd a projection modifier, adjust the cage out slightlyHit "0" key, turn on projection checkbox, add wanted passes (diffuse in this case or VrayDiffuseMap if you are using Vray), adjust desired texture size, set output location/file type, hit renderDone!
