Unwanted exposure changes in V-Ray for Rhino

Hey,

 

I am using V-Ray 1.5 for Rhino 5, and I am having an exposure problem which occurs every now and then. The exposure changes accordingly to the distance from the object I am rendering. When I am close to the object the render gets brigher and darker when further away. But I have also experienced it the other way around, brighter when far away and darker when closer.

 

My only settings except for the default is the physical camera (shutter speed 200) and the V-Ray sun. I am also overriding all materials with a bright grey.
