justinallbee
Hey, Are all of the materials and textures picked for you by an interior designer? Or are you the interior designer?

justinallbee
Okay, I was assuming that you had to choose all of the materials in the scene. I think lighting is your biggest issue to push this further. I want to see natural light coming in from the windows. The kitchen looks like it is in a basement. In most kitchens people are looking to have a lot of natural light coming in....I think this would really boost your composition. I am a mental ray guy, so it is hard for me to tell you technically what to do. This is a tutorial I used to help me. Again, from mental ray so I do not know how well it transfers over. The idea is to bring that good volume natural light in from the outside. Hope that helps.... http://www.tutorialized.com/tutorial/Lighting-and-Rendering-in-3ds-Max-using-mental-ray-Interior/77315
