branskyj
Hi all, I was just wondering if some of the tech savvy guys here had any ideas what the benefits of the upcoming DirectX 12 would be on the viewport performance (Nitrous) in the next 3DS Max versions. From what I've seen the new DX12 will utilize much, much better all CPU cores to do calculations. Does that mean higher quality of the shadows or getting rid of the noise when switching to Realistic viewport... or some other things. Any speculations on your part? tonybishop
high quality renders comes down to your VGA card not what they update, they can update what they like it does not mean it will be any better in max or any other software on the market today. as long as you have a good VGA card it will make a difference, and faster calculations also comes down to the amount of Ram you have inside your PC as you know
