Devin Johnston
I'm using Vray 2.4 and I'm having a problem with buckets rendering incorrectly during DR that I've never seen before. There rendering the GI incorrectly, I'm using LC and IR like I've done 1000 times before but for some reason with this project the lighting isn't matching. I probably have 50 IES lights in this scene as well as a few vray lights and some self illuminated materials. If I render the scene with my workstation only everything looks fine but if I use DR to do it I get this checkerboard look across the whole image. I should add that this problem isn't showing up in the low resolution tests only when I try and render out a high rez image. I've tried turning up the LC to see if that makes a difference but it doesn't seem to. I've increased the light samples from 8 to 64 with no change, and I've checked to make sure I wasn't running out of RAM on the slaves. Any ideas? zuwinnadi
I've had this a few times before and it could be a number of things. Check your texture paths are all in check. check each node being used for DR are update SP. If all that fails duplicate your camera and delete the old one. rogue3d
Check ies light paths too. One node might not be finding the ies file and instead is acting like a default light. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
