voltaire_ira
Here's a design a made for my grandmother's house in Leyte. The house old house will be renovated an will be converted into a resto/coffee shop. the front lawn will be used as the seating area for the resto/coffee shop. it is still in the conceptualization stages. i just made this scene for study purposes. its not yet finished though. comments will be appreciated.thanks
trhoads
The palm trees seem to bright, and it is too dark under the table umbrellas. Your landscape and grass looks very nice though.

jucaro
Hehehe...common in all your exterior rendering lately is that the sky background seem dark compared to the over-all lighting, making it look odd. Some setting that may have been over looked perhaps? And by the way, indirect bounce could use a little bit more. Increasing the receive GI factor might help. I'd replace those palms with better models or a bitmap composite in PS. IMHO.
voltaire_ira
yeah you're right..i tend to forget the sky.its quite dark.my problem is that i have few sky (good ones) to be used for the background. ps composite with a poor sky image wont work either..so maybe you have some good ones you could share? secondary bounce was left to default..that i overlooked. will try rpc for the palms. thanks! Juan Altieri
hi, good looking job, i think with more blue sky reflections on glass looks better, and the grass colour looks a little computer generated (looks like a carpet). Good job!

Try the thread here at cgarchitect about skies. it is in the tips and techniques. A few good leads there.
