Chris MacDonald
What software are you using? What render engine are you using? What is your lighting setup like? What is your material setup like? What are your render settings? Do you have any render elements that can narrow down the source of the noise?
rajeshpr1
Sorry, i forgot to mentioned those. 3D max 2012 with Vray 2.3. i used vray 4 vray plane light inside the room. and one direct light from out side. material is defaultl vray material. no rendenr elements added. GI engine irradiance map and Light cache.[sub div is 1000] and give one light from below which include ceiling. camera is standard. thank you. Francisco Penaloza
Are you using large V-Ray plane lights in your ceiling? That dirty noise seems to be low samples in your lights. maybe it is default 8 now, increase to 32 or so, it should clean up. Try to avoid of using "Fake" large Plane lights, start putting light where the light fixtures are, then just then if it is need it, place some extra hidden light. but for 99% of the time, if you follow architectural design, those light should be enough. rajeshpr1
Sir, thank you so much..... it is clear now.. one more doubt. Is it good to give photo metric light with web instead of v ray plane light.? which is preferable for similar scenes.? thank you.
Francisco Penaloza
glade to help. Using Photometrics light is not better, is not worse, some people may say they prefer because they are "Physically correct" or they get "real' Lighting conditions instead of using a random number while using regular V Ray lights. If you have the IES info of your light, use them, if not. not big deal. Quality wise they will render the same. Try to use V Ray IES they render faster than Max IES.
