joaopinto Posted July 17, 2015 Share Posted July 17, 2015 Hi guys, i'm trying connect 2 shapes together using loft but i can't get a nice result, and don't know why. I'm using 2 editable splines. One on top, and a smaller one in the bottom, but the final result it's a twisted poly. Can you help me? Francisco Penaloza Posted July 17, 2015 Share Posted July 17, 2015 Do I always think that regular poly modeling can do almost everything. I found surface modifier works better than loft. Take a look at this tutorial it may help. http://www.3dm3.com/articles/how-to-create-a-swimming-pool-model-with-3ds-max/ In your case you may need to re align your vertex and add more cross sections in between to get a more precise mesh. do not rely only in 2 sections. it wont be enough info for Max to create that shape.
